Headhunting a MANAGING DIRECTOR for FENIE Energía

 

Our client, the Spanish National Federation of Electric Installation and Telecommunications Companies, contacted us to head hunt a managing director, as they intended to open a new company specializing in the sale of electricity, among other activities.

 

From the moment GDHC was given the order, we focused on obtaining a list of the best professionals in the sector, who were in identical or similar positions as that defined with our client.

 

Our wide knowledge of companies in the Spanish electricity market allowed us to obtain quite a long list of target candidates.

 

We began the interview and evaluation process to compare the profiles of more than 40 candidates.

 

Finally, our client decided on a director from Endesa, who kept us negotiating for approximately two months. Fortunately, the effort and patience were worth spending in order to hire a top-level director.

Headhunting a TERRITORIAL DIRECTOR in CATALONIA

 

A French multinational in the electricity sector contacted us to select a director for its Catalan territory.

 

The professional they were looking for would take on the territorial management of Catalonia in the medium term, as these functions were currently being carried out by another person within the company.

 

The client was insistent on finding a professional with the ability to lead teams, as they would be managing a territory with 300 professionals and a structure of several offices in Barcelona and Tarragona.

 

Furthermore, there was the business management and sales. We were looking for a professional with contacts in the sector, who could bring added value to the business in both senses.

 

First, we defined the job description, structure and culture of the company with out client. We also developed the strategy for quickly finding candidates, by concentrating on candidates in similar positions in companies in the sector.
